WS-203 Build Your Own Pocket Watch

Here is an opportunity to learn how to service a pocket watch by building your own.  The student will be supplied with all the materials they need to construct their own pocket watch in this 2 day workshop.  Topics covered will include:

  • Assembling the movement
  • Lubricate and adjust the watch
  • Case the movement and regulate the watch

At the end of the weekend the student will have a basic knowledge of servicing a watch and will leave with a complete pocket watch.   This hand on workshop is structured for students with some basic watch experience.  All tools and materials will be supplied.

The workshop will be held at the NAWCC School of Horology on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.  This includes two 15 minute breaks and 1½ hours for lunch.

For additional information contact Katie Knaub at the NAWCC School of Horology: 717-684-8261, ext. 237.
