Pennsylvania Clocks: 1750-1850
A booklet written by J. Carter Harris, National Watch & Clock Museum Curator titled Pennsylvania Clocks: 1750-1850 has been published on the web for the benefit of NAWCC members and the interested public. This booklet was developed in conjunction with a special exhibit at the National Watch & Clock Museum under the same title and featured clocks and clock makers from twelve different counties in Pennsylvania. This publication attempts to show the diversity of influences that made the development of clockmaking in Pennsylvania so unique. This publication was made possible, in part, through a grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum commission as part of the special exhibit, Pennsylvania Clocks: 1750-1850.
