Registration
You are not required to register in order to use the nawcc.org website. The nawccemart.com requires a user to first complete a registration form to prove active NAWCC membership. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name, membership number, and email address). The NAWCC Member’s Bulletin Board has an optional registration form. Gift Shop Orders
We request information from the user on our Gift Shop order form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user. We request information from the user on our Membership Application/Renewal Form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). Other information is asked about the applicant's Horological hobby and sponsor. This information is used by the Membership department for billing and mailings. This information is also supplied to NAWCC chapters for recruitment and regional mart membership authentication. Information is collected through cookies, log files, and/or third parties to create a profile of user's activities on our website. Collected information is used to improve the content of the site for the user. We do not share this information with third parties. Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personal identity information while on our site. We use session ID cookies. When a user closes the browser, the session ID cookie terminates. By setting a cookie on our site, users would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time accessing site areas. If users reject the cookie, they may still use our site, but may be limited in some areas of the site. Like most standard website servers, we use log files. These include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
