Volunteer Opportunities
at The
National Watch and Clock Museum
 |

Gallery Docent- Interact with visitors as
you assist in helping visitors them view the exhibits (weekdays or
weekends)
-
Education Program Assistant
- Aid the museum
educator and interact with school children during museum education programs
(varies, mostly during school hours).

Hospitality Greeter – Meet and greet
visitors as they enter the building (weekdays, weekends, and for special
events).

Gift Shop- Assist in a variety of tasks
including customer service, organizing stock, mailings, inventory, data
entry, and general office work (weekdays or weekends)

Library and Archives- Assist in processing
materials for various collections housed in the Archives and/or process new
materials for the Reference, Lending Library, and Special collections
(weekdays only).

Collections- Aid museum curator with
collections projects such as: inventory, research, cataloging, and
collections care (weekdays only)

Exhibits
Assistant- Assist with
installation of changing exhibit galleries (volunteers on an as-needed basis).
- Special Events- Help with our special programs including Time Fest: Daylight
Savings Time Events in April and October (mostly weekend events).
