Though this model 6 timepiece with dead beat escapement is weight-driven, it is wound electrically. Original records from the Seth Thomas factory indicate that this movement, serial number 2504, was shipped to their Milwaukee, Wisconsin office for installation at a store belonging to the Coakley Brothers. There the movement was attached to the three 7"10" dials with the letters "COAKLEY BROS 4" taking the place of the standard numerals.
