Founded in 1841, Riefler made mathematical instruments and high-grade precision clocks. This fine, electrically wound wall regulator was installed in the Elgin National Watch Company and used to test their timepieces. The operation of the remontoir is visible via a crescent aperture in the dial. Donated by Mr. & Mrs. R.H. Brubaker, NAWCC #20694 Back to Precision Regulator Clocks Gallery
