Wait a Minute

You have heard expressions like "A watched pot never boils" and "Time flies when your having fun". Although time passes uniformly, our perceptions of time can vary dramatically depending on what we are doing and how we are feeling.
When you visit the Museum you can use this display to test your own sense of time by pushing the button to flip the sandglass. When you think 20n seconds have passed you push the first button. When you think 40 seconds have passed, you push the second button. And when you think the full minute has passed, you push the third button. Each time you press a button, the actual time elapsed will appear in the display.
