Before they began manufacturing clocks, Wallace and Tiernan Products were prolific makers of precision instruments for the aircraft and scientific industries. During the 1920's and 1930's they introduced a new styles of electric clocks including an electric "banjo" clock and the small wall clock exhibited here.
During the United States involvement in World War II, Wallace and Tiernan Products produced timing devices and aircraft instruments for the U.S. Armed Forces
