Exhibit Opening Reception

The National Watch and Clock Museum held an opening reception for the Time in Office: Presidential Timepieces Exhibit on Thursday, April 17, 2008. The reception was attended by a large crowd of exhibit sponsors, local political officials, NAWCC members and staff.

Media interest in the exhibit was high due to Pennsylvania's impending Primary

 

 

Catering for the event was handled by the NAWCC's own Abby Krouse and numerous local businesses provided goods and services for the event. Fundraising for the exhibit was very successful and many of the funders attended the evening's festivities. The president of Gallet Watch Group traveled from Switzerland to attend the opening.

The exhibit consists of over 30 timepieces and political memorobilia representing numerous American presidents
