This beautiful, miniature Monstrance table clock has a brass fusee, spring-driven movement and crown verge escapement. The iron case, extensively inlaid with silver, depicts allegorical and mythological themes, including griffins, serpents, animals and gods.
Three dials on the clock indicate the time, day of the month, and day of the lunar month. in addition to the dials there are three engraved silver apertures that provide additional calendrical information
