This thirty-hour, three train Viennese Clock strikes the hour, half-hour and quarter hours on two gongs. The case is made of ebonized wood with mother-of-pearl backing the dial. Both the case door and waist are trimmed with fire gilt roping that matches the three weights and pendulum.

The pediment is inlaid with mother-of-pearl and further adorned with a gilt brass, cortouche in the shape of Medusa's head
