During this one day workshop participants will learn how to stencil on glass. The instructor will demonstrate stencil cutting, knife handling, glass cleaning, varnish application, brush techniques and care, waiting period for set-up and affects, laying on the stencil(s), building complex designs, cleaning stencils and storing them, and backing up the designs with color. Students will learn:

• Proper materials to use in stenciling
• How to cut stencils
• Apply varnish
• Stenciling techniques using bronzing powders

By the end of the workshop students will have completed at least on stencil on glass.

The class is open to all. All materials and supplies are provided, except for a few common household items which the students will be asked to bring. This 1 day workshop will be held at the NAWCC School of Horology. The class will meet between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm. This includes two 15 minute breaks and 1 hour for lunch.
