Teacher self-directed museum visit

Cost: $4.00 per student
Suggested Length: 1 to 2 hours
Through this program teachers create their own visit to the museum.
Guided Tour
Grades K-12
Cost: $5.00 per student
Length: 1 1/2 hours
Through this program a guide helps students explore the museum's exhibits. A scavenger hunt may be included.

From Egyptians to Native Americans, all cultures developed ways of timekeeping that was conducive to their lifestyle. This program encourages students to learn about the different timekeeping methods developed and how the concept of time relates to everything that we do. As part of the museum visit, students will create an hourglass to take home.
Animal Shape and Find
Grades K-2

Length: 1 ½ to 2 hours
Shapes are found in everything, whether in nature or in objects in the classroom. This program encourages students to seek out and identify a variety of shapes within the museum’s exhibits. It is an interactive and fun way for younger students to view and learn through the exhibits. As part of the museum visit, students will engage in a scavenger hunt of shapes and animals found within the exhibits with the assistance of a museum guide.
