Q. How much does it cost and how can I pay?
A. The link below will provide you with ticket options and prices. Payment is made with check, cash, or credit card when you arrive at the museum for your field trip. SEE: Reservation Information
Q. How many chaperones do I need?
A. We require at least one chaperone for every 10 students. We offer free admission to chaperones to ensure that all groups are properly supervised.
Q. Where does the bus drop us off? Where can the bus park?
A. The bus drop off is located outside the museum’s entrance. The bus can park in our parking lot. SEE: Directions
Q. What about lunch?
A. If you're bringing your own lunches you MUST make a lunch reservation when reserving your field trip. If you are eating lunch at the Museum and not participating in one of our hands-on programs, then your group will be charged a $25.00 fee for facility use. The museum does not provide lunch, nor does it have a cafeteria to buy food. Soda is available for purchase in the Museum store. Request a lunch reservation when you reserve your field trip.
Q. What about backpacks and cameras?
A. Students are not allowed to bring backpacks inside the museum. Please arrange to have backpacks left at school or on the bus. Students can use cameras in the museum, but without the flash.
Q. Is the museum accessible for wheelchairs?
A. The museum has a wheelchair available on request. Inquire at the admissions desk or ask a staff member.
